Cost
estimates for filling, firing and refilling a position range from
25-400% of that position's salary.
Considering the costs, putting
some attention and focus to your hiring practices makes sense. We
consider hiring the right person to be the end result of a selection
process. We can help develop a process from recruiting through
reference checking. This will increase the odds of finding and
hiring the candidate best suited for your organization and will protect
you from discrimination claims. We can also do some of the process
for you!

The Oregon
Family Leave and Federal Family and Medical Leave Acts require employers
to provide eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of job-protected leave
annually.
If you employ 25 or more
employees in Oregon, you are subject to the Oregon Act; Oregon Employers
of 50 or more are required to comply with the Federal and State Laws.
Most employers consider this legislation to be complicated and difficult
to administer. We have developed some fairly simple guidelines to
lead you trough this employment law maze. In addition, we can help
develop a policy, provide forms and deliver management training.
